Overview
We rebuilt a regional news portal covering the Delta governorates with a sizeable editorial team. A clear reading interface highlights breaking and most-read stories, and the editorial dashboard offers tiered permissions from reporter to editor-in-chief. Advanced caching and a CDN keep the site stable during major events, and the full archive was migrated without losing a single URL.

The challenge
The old site went down whenever breaking news drove traffic up, and publishing was slow because roles and permissions were unclear. Articles were also losing search visibility due to technical issues in the site structure.
The solution
We designed an architecture built on full-page caching and a CDN, with automatic image compression. The editorial workflow lets reporters file stories for editor review before publishing, with scheduling and a breaking-news ticker. Structured data, a news sitemap and precise redirects preserved the old URLs and their rankings.
